What are your top 7 rules of life? Here are

“Life is the only game in which the object of the game is to learn the rules.”
– Ashleigh Brilliant

The answer is a resounding yes. All know The Rules of Life. The Rules of Life are the guiding principles that will help you get more out of life, shrug off adversity more easily and usually be a happier, calmer, more fulfilled persons. Here are few

Love Comes Second - If caught between choosing love or career, I will want my job every time. Finding love isn’t rare, and it will be even more abundant if I can bring my dreams to fruition.

Control the Narrative - tales surround us, whether they are commercial for us to buy a car or a description about our racial inferiority, we are all surrounded by other people’s stories about what life is supposed to be about. My second rule is that I am very conscious about who’s frame of reality I am operating under when making life decisions.

Live My Days Like a Romantic - I’m thankful for the small things, like the fact that I can read or that I can call my parents. I let my little successes mean something to me, and I’m sentimental when it comes to my relationships.

Plan My Life Like an Engineer - I have no problem moving to a new city, saying goodbye to people that I love, and saying no to fun, if it means that it will put me in a better position to succeed. I use probability rather than my intuition when I strategize to bring my dreams to fruition.

What Would the Strongest Version of Myself Do - When caught in between two choices I ask myself this question “What would the greatest version of myself do?” this guides me in the right direction, which makes the question my life’s compass.

Feel it, Then Laugh - When it comes to “negative” emotions, I feel the emotions in its entirety, I shout, cry, and slam my chest, but after my outburst, I laugh. I remember that no matter what is causing me entropy, in the bigger scheme of things it doesn’t matter. Feel and then laugh, is how I deal with all my darkest emotions.

I Change My Philosophy Like T-Shirts - I change my life philosophy all the time, in college, I was the hedonist, post grad I was an ascetic. Currently, I’m a nihilist who thinks like an economist. I change my philosophy regularly as to help me achieve new my goals. No life philosophy will be perfect to reach all of your goals, that’s why you have to be aware of what philosophy will be the best at helping you live the life you want to live.
